Inktober takes place during the month of October and is a time for artists to create 31 drawings in 31 days. The rules are simple, all you have to do is follow the prompt for the five day to create an ink drawing and post it online with the hashtags #inktober and #inktober2016. Some of the prompts include noisy, friend, relax, lost, broken, and jump. These one-word prompts are meant to create a wide variety of drawings, and it is interesting to see how different artists portray each prompt. Starting in 2009, Inktober has now grown to be a world-wide event to challenge artists to improve their skills.
