Of Monsters and Men is a band from Iceland who has several amazing animated music videos. This includes their music video for their 2011 international hit “Little Talks” which reached mainstream popularity in the US. This video takes place in an animated mythical world inspired by Iceland’s landscape and it includes both live action and animation. There is especially a nice blend of live action and animation in the characters, with the band members’ live action heads attached to animated bodies. In addition, the design of the various sceneries, buildings, and characters are very detailed and beautiful. The animation was done using a mix of Photoshop, After Effects, Maya, and Cinema4D.
