Haerbin ice festival

When we were talking about public art during the class, I was reminded of the Haerbin snow festival in China. Every January 5th there are be sculptures, houses, buildings, castles, even palaces made of snow and ice. Colorful lights shine through them during the night. People play in the huge frozen kingdom  and hold ice sculpture competition. The festival could last up to two months depending on the weather.
