NASA Artist Collaboration

NASA is collaborating with artist and photojournalist  Justin Guariglia in an attempt to create compelling images that reflect the impacts of climate change. Guarigila will join NASA on a Greenland mission and a multitude of low altitude flights. NASA hopes that art/photos will be able to more effectively communicate the harms of climate change to the public and move people to action. The featured photo is one of Guarigila’s many images of a dying glacier that is digitally printed, using a technique to give it almost a 3-dimensional appearance.
